JANUS et Cie introduces Gina, its first collection with architecture and design icon Piero Lissoni. The extensive collection brings an unabashed romanticism to contemporary living, mixing tactile materials and plush seating with practical durability and modern silhouettes. Although designed for the outdoors, Lissoni says that ultimately, it’s a collection that is befitting “everywhere.”
Thoughtfully designed modular pieces and flawlessly shaped lounge chairs are impeccably engineered with a solid aluminum frame and a masterfully woven rope seat that is soft to the touch. The Gina teak-top cocktail tables in a new Driftwood finish can be easily adapted for use as ottomans. The glamorous chaise lounge boasts an integrated surface for a poolside martini or favorite novel. Side chairs and armchairs complement an array of teak dining tables perfectly sized for communal spaces. Eclectic in scale and material mix, the 18-piece Gina collection offers a uniquely casual yet chic vibe, as well as opportunities for personalized styling of its oversized cushions and toss pillows.

About Piero Lissoni:
In 1986, he and Nicoletta Canesi founded Lissoni Associati, a multidisciplinary architecture, interiors and design firm based in Milan. This was followed by the opening of the visual communications company Graph.x in 1996 and later by the firms Lissoni Architettura and the New York based Lissoni Inc., which is dedicated to architecture and interior design projects in the US.
With its multinational staff, the group encompasses all aspects of architecture, product design, as well as graphics, art direction and corporate identity, extending globally to include hotel, restaurant, residential, corporate, retail and exhibition design.
Among its clients the studio counts Alessi, B&B, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, De Padova, Fantini, Flos, Glas, Kartell, Knoll, Lema, Living Divani, Lualdi, Porro and Sanlorenzo. Recently completed architectural projects include The Middle House for the Swire Hotels Group in Shanghai (2018), The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah Ajman in the UAE (2017), Casa Fantini, an 11-room hotel on the shores of Lake Orta (2017), the Sanlorenzo SX88 yacht (2017), Roomers Hotel in Baden-Baden with 130 rooms and spa (2016), Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam (2012), Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem (2009), the renovation of the historic Teatro Nazionale in Milan (2009), the production headquarters of Fantini spa (2018), Kerakoll Design Lab (2014), Glas Italia (2010) and Living Divani (2007).
