Christmas at Lion Brewery Co. returns with a Sumptuous Buffet and Exciting Activities
This festive season 2023, Lion Brewery Co. is transforming its brewery into a gourmet Christmas wonderland, complete with exciting surprises and activities for everyone in the family. The Lion Brewery Co Taproom at 36 Club Street will be launching a month-long Christmas menu, as well as two days of their highly-anticipated annual Christmas Brunch Party.
We had a go at their tasting lunch and it was true to it's word; just brilliant, tasty and heartwarming, a true delight to have such a lovely set of Christmas-based goodies all planned nicely for you and your family and loved ones..
Christmas Set Menu
From November through to the end of the year, Lion Brewery Co. will be serving a special Christmas set menu. Created with year-end office and corporate get-togethers in mind, the menu is priced affordably from $36 per person. The start of the three-course set menu offers a choice of delicious dishes: a refreshing bowl of Caprese Salad, an exquisite Tuna Tartare, and a delectable Christmas Smoked Duck Salad.
For the main course, guests can choose from four hearty meals such as the Baked Gammon Ham and Rolled Turkey Breast, both served with mashed potatoes, buttered seasonal vegetables and a side of cranberry and onion gravy. For an additional $7, guests can further elevate their dining experience with the melt-in-your-mouth Signature BBQ Beef Brisket, served with seasonal vegetables. Diners looking for a non-meat dish can opt for the Special Impossible Lasagna (additional $4) decked with Parmigiano Reggiano.
To cap off the festive meal, guests can indulge in decadent desserts at an additional $12, choosing any of the in-house desserts on the A la Carte menu, or ending with the Christmas Fruit Cake, made with a rich, homemade Cognac sauce.
This Christmas Set Menu is available for lunch and dinner on Mondays to Fridays, from 11:30am to 9pm.
Annual Christmas Lunch The annual Christmas Lunch at Lion Brewery Co returns with an extensive spread, including a live carving station and a line-up of activities for the entire family.
Guests will be spoiled for choice at the free-flowing salad bar, offering delights such as Antipasti, Tomato Caprese Salad, and Prawn Salad. There is also a station offering a variety of breads with a tasty Tomato Soup. Keep a lookout for the cheese and cold cuts, featuring classics like French Brie and Blue Cheese, paired with Aged Prosciutto and Beef Pastrami.
Merrymakers will be treated to hearty Christmas roasts at the live carving station, with traditional juicy cuts such as Gammon Ham, Roasted Turkey, or Boneless Lamb Leg. To complement the selection of meats, spectacular side dishes include Christmas stuffing, pigs in blankets and roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon. For those with a sweet tooth, grab a piece of the Christmas Log Cake, some fresh Christmas Cookies or some Christmas Mince Pies.
Children can expect a jolly good time, with screenings of kid-friendly Christmas movies and craft-making stations. There will also be a balloon sculptor and a caricature artist to keep families entertained. To deliver an extra flourish of Christmas cheer, children will receive custom presents from Elves during the Christmas Eve seatings, and Santa on Christmas Day.
Christmas at a Brewery, priced at $158 per adult, and $68 per child, will be held on 24 December 2023 from 6pm to 10pm. It will also hold two seatings on 25 December 2023 at 11.30am to 1.30pm and 2pm to 4pm.
Boxing Day Recovery Party
Lion Brewery Co will also be hosting their famous Boxing Day Recovery Party on 26 December 2023, filled with loads of Bloody Mary’s, espresso martinis and pocket-friendly beers.
