How they Began

In 2014, founder Sophia Mamas began a personal journey to craft personalized friendship bracelets for her loved ones. What started as a hobby of creating tokens of appreciation and affection for her close friends and family evolved into a diverse brand, offering jewelry, accessories, beachwear, and a resort line.

SORBET ISLAND always cherishes the warmth that marked its inception. Sophia meticulously attends to every detail to preserve this sense of intimacy, ensuring that when an item reaches you, you feel the love, passion, and appreciation that went into its creation. The packaging features personalized and thoughtful touches, including stickers for customization, inspirational quotes with items, and jewelry presented in glass tubes with fortune messages—a unique touch reminiscent of messages in a bottle sent to loved ones across the sea.

She draws inspiration from her childhood memories and the nostalgic sweetness of summer: sorbet ice cream, a love for fun stickers, multi-colored candies, and bright color combinations, infusing a playful spirit into all collections while maintaining an effortlessly sophisticated look.
