From the list of 16 yachts which will be making their debuts at the show, we picked out some which we are keenly anticipating:
WATER TOYS & FRINGE ACTIVITIES
For those seeking wanting to catch a glimpse of live demos by water toy exhibitors, head over to the Floating Leisure Hub. There will be a wide range of toys on display; Jetskis, Flyboards, Electric Hydrofoils and more.
The Boardwalk Village and North Pavilion features an incredible line-up of high-end lifestyle products and services. They range from premium AV speakers and headphones to luxury timepieces and one-of-a-kind jewellery.
For the car enthusiasts, there will be a Ferrari and Lamborghini convey heading into the marina area.
Every participating yacht, exhibitor and guest play an important role in contributing to the success of the show. Beyond all the glitz, glamour and trade numbers, the Singapore Yacht Show also serves a greater purpose; to raise awareness in the region (and beyond), to recognise that the yachting industry is an important contributor to the economy.
On average, a single superyacht visiting the region can contribute USD$3 million – USD$4 million per season.
This figure doesn’t only flow towards the tourism sector. Superyachts travelling across continents need to undergo servicing, maintenance, refuel and resupply. The multiplier effect of spending generated from a single superyacht reaches far and wide into the community. There are more than 5,000 superyachts currently existing worldwide. Imagine having just 50 superyachts visiting your shores each season!
The show is a great starting point to experience the lifestyle, the explore boundless opportunities, and most importantly to learn about the benefits it can bring to the region.
