The award-winning Pacific Emporium at Pan Pacific Singapore presents a Peranakan afternoon tea experience that pays tribute to Singapore’s heritage flavours, in celebration of SG60. Crafted by Executive Sous Chef Cheah Hun Leong and his Culinary Team, as well as Executive Pastry Chef Edina Si and her Pastry Team, the Peranakan afternoon tea is served daily from 2 August until 16 November 2025, with two seatings available from 1:00pm until 3:00pm (First seating), and 4:00pm until 6:00pm (Second seating).
Guests are welcomed with the Nyonya Bloom, a signature welcome drink infused with a
harmonious blend of peach, passionfruit, aromatic pandan, and rich ‘gula melaka’. This is
followed by an exquisite afternoon tea menu, which presents an array of delectable savouries, such as Peranakan Rojak with Beetroot Pie Tee, Nyonya “Kerabu” with Baby Abalone, Mackerel Mousseline in a Charcoal Soft Bun, and “Bakwa” and Meat Floss Double Decker. Indulge in a selection of delightful sweets, including the Strawberry Shortcake, Hazelnut Praline Puff, Hukambi Salted Caramel Tart, Passion Fruit Pistachio Bar, “Fish Tank” – a Matcha Financier with Blue Pea Jelly and Yuzu Whipped Ganache, as well as the Golden Sultana and Classic Scones.
On weekdays, guests can enjoy a local delight alongside a selection of sweet and savoury pastries elegantly presented on a three-tiered stand. Savour highlights such as Crispy Lobster Popiah, Peranakan Stuffed Chicken Wing in Inche Kabin Style, Nyonya Laksa, or Babi Pongteh, for a truly elevated afternoon tea experience. On weekends, the experience transforms into an indulgent buffet-style affair, featuring unlimited servings of these same delights with a Chef’s Speciality Showcase, along with the decadent Bananas Foster, served with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, mango compote, vanilla ice cream, or raspberry passion fruit sorbet.
Select from the finest TWG teas or Lavazza coffee for the perfect afternoon tea accompaniment or elevate the experience with an optional add-on of a glass of Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne and indulge in bubbly bliss.
