“Events like the Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Singapore 2025 are integral to Singapore’s vibrant leisure events calendar, highlighting the city as a desirable lifestyle destination in the region, especially for younger travelers such as Gen Zs and millennials seeking unique experiences. This year, AFA attendees can enjoy special Singapore program highlights, including TOHO animation’s inaugural experiential showcase in Asia outside Japan. We warmly invite fans and visitors to the event, where they can connect with fellow enthusiasts from Singapore and create lasting memories,” said Guo Teyi, Director, Leisure Events, Singapore Tourism Board.

“Anime Festival Asia began in Singapore in 2008. Although the festival has expanded to cities like Indonesia and Hong Kong, the Singapore edition remains particularly special to both fans and us. The team has dedicated the entire year to curating the programming and lineup, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone this weekend to experience the best of Japanese pop culture and contribute to creating new milestones in the future,” said Mr. Shawn Chin, Founder & Managing Director of SOZO Pte Ltd and Festival Director of AFA Singapore 2025.
