Whisky Live 2022

The Eleventh Edition of Whisky Live Singapore is back on the 19th & 20th of November 2022 and South-East Asia’s most premium tasting show will be showcased at the Andaz Hotel, located in the heart of the city at 5 Fraser Street.

Hosted annually by La Maison du Whisky (LMDW), the Eleventh Edition of this show marks the return of Whisky Live after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic.

Largest Whisky Hall

Whisky Live Singapore 2022 promises the largest Whisky Hall to date, with over 30 whisky brands, including Singapore’s homegrown Compendium Spirits, who will be showcasing their Hom Mali Rice Whiskey at the show.

As always, long-time Whisky Live enthusiasts and connoisseurs, can expect first sips of new market releases. This year’s line up includes gems such as Nikka Whisky’s 2022 Nikka Discovery release, which will explore the aromatic yeasts used in the Miyagikyo & Yoichi Distilleries. Guests can join Naoki Tomoyoshi in a guided masterclass and taste behind the scenes expressions usually reserved for Nikka Whisky’s master distillers.

Other new releases that will be debuting at Whisky Live Singapore include Port Charlotte SC:01, Compass Box’s Flaming Heart 7th Edition, Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition, and even Singapore exclusive Blanton’s single barrels!


Rum Gallery

Singapore’s first ever Rum Gallery will make an appearance at Whisky Live Singapore in a 200m2 area dedicated entirely to rum in all its forms,. Guests can expect a unique tasting and learning journey as well as the opportunity to meet the movers and shakers in the world of sugarcane, from Martinique to Haiti, Jamaica to Asia.

New comers to the Rum Gallery include Takamaka Rum from Seychelles, Rockpool Rum from Singapore, Khukri Rum from Nepal, and Renegade Cane Rum - the latest terroir project from spirits icon, Mark Reynier, who will also be leading two masterclasses on both Saturday and Sunday.

Rum afficionados can also get downright geeky with rum gurus such as Richard Seale from Foursquare Distillery, Gregory Vernant from Neisson, as well as Daniele Biondi and Angelo Canessa from La Maison & Velier, who will be representing an extensive portfolio from Hampden Estate to Clairin to Providence; a new distillery based in Haiti.

FROM SPEYSIDE TO ISLAY, EXPLORE TERROIRS & MARKS AT WHISKY LIVE SINGAPORE For the first time ever, the masterclasses at Whisky Live Singapore will be free for all ticket holders to attend; the amazing line up features powerhouses such as Matthew Cordiner from Aberfeldy, Mark Reynier of Waterford and Renegade distilleries, Richard Seale espousing the Philosophy behind Foursquare Rums, and Robert Caldwell, pushing the boundaries of Irish Whiskey. Guests to Whisky Live just need to show up 10 minutes before the class starts to secure a seat.


La Boutique

The return of Whisky Live means the return of Singapore’s largest pop-up bottle store in any single weekend. This year, La Boutique is virtual, which offers a more seamless shopping experience, as well as the perk of no bulky packages to carry around!

As always, guests can enjoy a 10% discount at La Boutique, as well as the chance to be amongst the first in the world to own Singapore exclusives from Chichibu, Blanton’s Bourbon, Teeling, as well as new market releases from brands such as Bruichladdich, Octomore, Port Charlotte, Rampur, Hampden and more.


The Cocktail Terrace will be helmed by award- winning bars & bartenders from Singapore, with a Nikka Whisky x Perrier special experience. Guests can refresh themselves with the Whisperr, created especially for highball afficionados, as well as the Daiquiri Machine with Rum personality, Angelo Canessa.

To mark the debut of Singapore’s first ever Rum Gallery is a special guest shift from Baba au Rum, ranked #20 in the World’s Top Bars, this specialist rum bar will be flying in especially from Athens, Greece to wow Whisky Live Singapore guests with amazing cocktails.


Collectors Square

....and our Personal Favourite, the creation of a Collectors Square - this is a superb idea and brings finesse and style for whisky lovers to partake of their rare and awesome whiskys, all in one central hub within the show! Fantastic!
