The high-profile preservation project has breathed new life into one of the city’s most iconic and historic buildings. Built in 1969, the tall white landmark structure, with its distinctive arches frame is set to become the metropolis’ finest, featuring exceptional interior design, excellent facilities and intuitive service.


The hotel has also been recognised for its perfect utilisation of light. The combined use of natural light and simple but astonishing indoor lighting creates an ambience of subtle luxury and elegance in every space of the property.

The 25-storey hotel offers some of Hong Kong’s most spacious rooms and suites with majority 50 square metres or grander. Each of The Murray’s 336 oversized accommodation features uniquely recessed windows allowing abundant daylight without direct heat from the morning sun, an architectural feature which has won countless awards for ground-breaking and energy-efficient design. Murray Lane

Poised to be the go-to bar venue for after-work gatherings among the city’s finance community, the bar serves a selection of craft beers, premium spirits and wines, as well as a variety of gourmet small plates, ideal for pre-dinner cocktails and casual dining. Discreetly positioned on the ground floor, Murray Lane accommodates 30 guests indoors and offer light lunch options as well as premium teas and barista-made coffees.

Garden Lounge

Adding a contemporary twist to an elegant tradition, the Garden Lounge, situated on the Garden Level (UG/F), offers an elegant atmosphere to enjoy The Murray’s Signature Afternoon Tea and the hotel’s handpicked selection of champagnes and wines. The lounge welcomes up to 88 guests for a mid-day indulgence or pre-dinner drinks. A treat for the senses, the menu includes sweet and savoury light bites along with a curated offering of speciality teas by JING. Guests can also enjoy a wholesome breakfast of Western and Asian favourites as well as a refreshing all-day menu featuring soups, salads and sandwiches. The venue offers both indoor and alfresco seating on the Garden Lounge’s verdant terrace overlooking the neighbouring green oasis of Hong Kong Park.

Guo Fu Lou

Experience exquisite Cantonese cuisine at one of the city’s most iconic Chinese restaurants. Situated in a two-story pavilion, the restaurant features an intimate terrace for outdoor dining. The stylish and contemporary interiors, meticulous service and outstanding gastronomy make it the desired establishment for important business and memorable social gatherings.

Lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Last order: 2:30 p.m.)

Dinner: 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Last order: 10:00 p.m.)


The Tai Pan

A dining room for Hong Kong’s captains of industry and leaders in style, The Tai Pan serves international and pan-Asian classics and familiar favourites to entice the appetites of discerning diners. A contemporary menu featuring the finest produce from around the world, exceptional intuitive service and an exquisite wine list are hallmarks of the restaurant. Located on the Garden Level (UG/F), seating is available indoors or alfresco on the restaurant terrace. This dining institution is the ideal choice for business luncheons, memorable celebrations or a special romantic evening.

Popinjays

Crowning the hotel’s top floor, Popinjays delights guests with panoramic city views and an energetic atmosphere. A contemporary upscale restaurant showcasing modern European gastronomy, the menu celebrates the finest seasonal ingredients. Surrounded by a view of Hong Kong’s panoramic skyline, the 655 sqm, 114-seat lifestyle and entertainment space includes an indoor dining area, a private dining room, and a bar. At the bar, guests can enjoy light-bites inspired by the colorful flavours of epicurean capitals. alongside creative cocktails conceived by expert mixologists against a backdrop of live music featuring a line-up of local and international DJs. For an exclusive experience, The Aviary, a private dining room with a striking glass facade, will be available for intimate events and accommodate up to 14 guests.
