  • The Acknowledgments Awards Ceremony — celebrating exceptional performances, leadership, and achievements in private markets.

  • AGM meetings scheduled as part of the event on Sept 16-17.

  • 20th anniversary party at CÉ LA VI - a networking / social component of the conference and a chance for attendees (LPs, GPs, industry folks) to unwind, connect with peers, and mark the anniversary in style

  • SuperReturn Family Office Asia - aimed specifically at family offices (and related stakeholders) investing in private markets, and to bring together senior decision-makers from single family offices, family office principals, “next gen” family members, and investment executives.

  • SuperReturn CFO/COO Asia - this track is making its debut in Singapore, gathering over 150 senior leaders in operations, finance, risk, and compliance to discuss issues like cyber risk, operating models, and regulatory challenges.

  • SuperReturn Energy & Infrastructure Asia - these dedicated tracks highlight the growing interest in sustainable investing, climate risk, grid modernization, and related themes.

Conversations Galore

The participants comprise institutional LPs, fund managers, family offices, service providers, and policy influencers. The environment combines networking, learning, and deal-seeking. Attendees gather to connect with partners and LPs, and to explore new opportunities that align with their advisory and fundraising strategy.

Thematic Discussions

Key themes discussed in the talks and panels include:

  1. Tech & AI Integration — viewed not only as investment areas but also as essential tools: examining how AI impacts deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio operations. Deep tech is becoming increasingly significant.

  2. Liquidity & Secondaries — with many LPs seeking flexibility, deal structures are undergoing changes.

  3. Private Credit & Alternative Financing — as public markets remain volatile, there is a growing interest in private alternatives.

  4. Sustainability, Energy & Infrastructure — addressing climate risks, ESG, and infrastructure has become a fundamental part of strategy rather than just optional.

  5. Regulation & Risk — focusing on the diverse global geopolitical and regulatory landscapes, tax systems, compliance, and cybersecurity.

Asia in the Spotlight

The discussion largely focused on Asia's dual function as a growth engine and a testing ground for global capital. Delegates emphasized the opportunities in Southeast Asia’s digital economy, India’s scale, and China’s changing investment environment.

Infrastructure and sustainability were also key topics. As governments increase their commitments to clean energy and climate transition, LPs expressed a growing interest in funds aimed at renewables, logistics, and smart cities. “Private capital has a unique role in financing Asia’s green transition,” noted a panelist from a global pension fund. “The challenge lies in aligning long-term capital with long-term projects.”

Voices Galore

  • In a quiet corner, a startup founder is meeting with a potential LP who notes that the AI track has convinced them their thesis is promising.

  • At the SuperReturn Allocate speed-meeting lounge, participants are changing seats every few minutes, showcasing intensity and speed.

  • During the Awards Ceremony, applause is given to those who excelled in challenging markets — for consistent returns, for innovation, and for bridging international gaps.

  • The Women in Private Markets lunch garners attention — featuring voices from women GPs and LPs, discussing mentorship, inclusion, and leadership opportunities.
