Singapore, November 5, 2015 – Sofitel today opened the doors of its second property in Singapore, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. Located in one of Asia’s most renowned leisure destinations, Sentosa, the Sofitel’s design reflects a bold and elegant style that cleverly integrates the surrounding nature within the hotel’s various buildings, with exacting attention to detail that brings Sofitel’s art de vivre to life.

With 211 rooms and suites, plus four villas, the hotel also features the world’s largest So SPA, four F&B options, over 1,300 sqm of MICE facilities, a 33-metre swimming pool and more than 27 acres of tropical woodlands, offering guests a sense of relaxed sophistication and urban resort living. As the only hotel at Sentosa that overlooks the South China Sea, the resort also offers easy access to Tanjong Beach.

Dining in Paradise

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa offers some of the finest dining options in the Lion City. Kwee Zeen is a casual, yet upscale all-day dining restaurant with open kitchen counters that creates an innovative dining experience for unforgettable memories. Serving a wide selection of Asian, Western and French cuisines, guests can indulge in the best gourmet dining while enjoying spectacular views of the sparkling sea and landscaped gardens, along with fresh, cooling sea breezes.


To celebrate the opening of the hotel, Kwee Zeen has launched its Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch, offering a wide range of fine quality dishes paired with premium Taittinger Champagne. Select from 16 different ateliers ranging from Live Seafood, Gallery of Foie Gras, Fromage & Charcuteries, Tandoor & Chinese, and a sumptuous dessert trolley, plus handcrafted truffles from the Chocolaterie. Diners will be also delighted by the especially flown-in lobsters from Boston, Alaskan king crabs, sea urchin, caviar and fresh oysters.


The Magnifique Sunday Champagne Brunch is available on Sundays from 12.30pm to 3.30pm from SGD 58 ++ to SGD 168 ++.

The newly revamped Conference Centre is designed to merge with the natural elements surrounding the venue. Boasting two ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms, outdoor verandas and a bridal suite, the pillar-less meeting rooms allow natural light to illuminate the space and stretches out to the outdoor lawn, making it an ideal venue for corporate brainstorming sessions, team building, leadership training, cocktail receptions or wedding solemnisations.

An airy gourmet bar nestled within the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, LeBar is uniquely designed after 19th century Colonial Pavilion. Overlooking the resort’s 33 meters pool, the sun-washed bar serves as a perfect spot for idle afternoons or for ladies to enjoy a tètè-a-tètè with friends and family. A sanctuary cradled in the lush greenery of Sofitel’s extensive grounds, the So Spa is 6,000 sqm of pure pampering heaven. The experience begins from the very moment guests step through its doors; the signature scent of So Spa’s L’Artisan Parfumeur Jatamansi, with notes of the rare flower from the remote valleys of the Himalayas, greets the nose, soothes the senses, and immediately calms the mind.


The spa is based on French cosmetology with a touch of local influences and features a playful menu inspired by another thing the French truly excel at: fine dining. Under Starters are shorter treatments lasting up to 45 minutes; the Mains lists more elaborate facials and massages lasting an hour or more; Desserts are the little things everyone enjoys – such as a shoulder and scalp massage.


As the world’s largest So SPA, the facility boasts 14 treatment rooms and six outdoor pavilions as well as the Spa Garden. Here, guests may relax at the Swimming Pool with a good book or loosen the muscles with the rhythmic pressure from the waterfall at the Float Pool. A walk through the spiral in the Labyrinth will clear the mind, while a rub-down with the volcanic mud at the Mud Pool will rid the body of toxins.
