IMPOSSIBLE FOODS LAUNCHES IMPOSSIBLE™ BURGER PATTIES IN SINGAPORE


Singapore, 17 August 2022 -- Impossible Foods is now introducing Impossible™ Burger

Patties Made From Plants: a convenient, pre-formed package of two quarter-pound (227g) patties made with the award-winning Impossible™ Beef. The patties are now available nationwide in NTUC FairPrice stores and online on FairPrice Online and RedMart, before rolling out across Cold Storage, Giant and Market Place outlets under the Dairy Farm Group later this year.


Fans of Impossible Beef can find the new patty packs in the grocery stores’ frozen meat section in convenient packages with two 113g patties. “Burger patties have been increasing in popularity for nearly a decade because they’re simple and fast. Now more than ever, Singaporeans crave convenience and speed in the kitchen,” said Laurent Stevenart, General Manager of Impossible Foods Singapore and UAE. “Our patty packs allow home chefs to create the perfect meal, whether that’s a classic-style burger or a juicy patty melt. In just four minutes, your Impossible Burger can go from the refrigerator to the grill to your plate.”

About Impossible Burger Patties

Impossible Burger Patties have as much protein and bioavailable iron as a comparable serving of ground beef from cows, contain no animal hormones or antibiotics and is kosher, halal and gluten-free certified. A 4-ounce patty has 0 mg cholesterol, 14 g of total fat, 8 g of saturated fat and 240 calories.(A conventional 4-ounce “80/20” patty from cows has 80 mg cholesterol, 23 g of total fat, 9 g of saturated fat and 290 calories.)


Impossible Burger Patties use 96% less land, 87% less water to produce while generating 89% less GHG emissions than beef from a cow. The patty packs include pull tabs for easy opening and are made with fully recyclable materials. From now till 30 September 2022, they will retail at a promotional price of $8.50 per package, while stocks last; each 227g package is priced at $9.50 excluding promotions.
