ILTM organisers are reporting a surge in interest in their new ILTM Asia Pacific event, not only from new luxury travel buyers from across the region, but from Asia Pacific specialists from across the world.

Alison Gilmore, Director of the ILTM Portfolio commented: “The essence of every ILTM event is the quality of buyers we identify and fully host to meet our top end clients and ILTM Asia Pacific looks set to raise the bar still higher. Our clients at the event are the world’s premier luxury travel experiences, destinations and providers – an awe-inspiring guest list with whom these specialist buyers will plan their high net worth clients’ luxury leisure time in detail.”

In comparison to last year’s ILTM Asia in China, ILTM have received a 60% increase in interest from Australian buyers as well as key source markets including Singapore (+47%), India (+50%) and Japan (+32%). There is also intensified interest from Hong Kong and Korea as well as The Philippines and Indonesia.

Ms Gilmore continued: “This is incredible buyer engagement from our target regions, from which we will curate a final invitation list of the most productive and most discerning decision-makers from each region.”

The exhibitors these Asian and international buyers are set to meet at ILTM Asia Pacific include destinations such as Botswana, Catalonia, Dubai, Fiji, Korea, New Zealand, Los Angeles, Spain and Switzerland, as well as Japan.

In addition, established global brands which have already confirmed their participation to meet these buyers include: Accor Luxury Brands, Belmond, Capella Hotel Group, Crystal Cruises, Edition Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Langham Hotels International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Marriott International Luxury Hotels, Oetker Collection, Ponant, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Relais & Chateaux, Rocco Forte Hotels, Rosewood Hotel Group, Silversea Cruises, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and also, Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts and Conrad Hotels and Resorts.

They will be joined by independent but equally high-end brands such as Blue Lagoon in Iceland and Iconic Luxury Hotels as well as newer brands waiting to be discovered such as Kudadoo in the Maldives, new Ganges experience Aqua Indica and new wellness resort Alba Vietnam.

Ms Gilmore concludes: “Although ILTM Asia Pacific is a new event, the brand reputation precedes us – we have been overwhelmed with interest from top end buyers and providers alike. We look forward to this continuing as we announce further details of our Education Programme, Opening Forum and many parties and social networking opportunities. The first ILTM Asia Pacific looks set to be a place to do business like never before.”
