Volt Auto sets a precedent as the inaugural car brand in Singapore to bring in a global celebrity for an electric vehicle unveiling
Volt Auto marked a significant achievement in electric mobility with the successful debut of the Dongfeng 007, its latest electric sedan, on 18 Oct 2025 at Funan Mall. The event attracted a gathering of fans, media, and industry partners, and featured a special appearance by international icon Jessica Jung. This made Volt Auto the first automotive brand in Singapore to bring in a global celebrity for a car launch.
Under the campaign banner “UNLOCKED: 007 with Jessica Jung”, the launch merged automotive innovation with lifestyle glamour, redefining the presentation of EVs to a new generation of drivers.

A Star-Studded Moment with Jessica Jung
Jessica Jung, an international singer, actress, and fashion entrepreneur, was the face of the UNLOCKED: 007 campaign. Fans and media eagerly awaited her appearance, where she took the stage alongside the vehicle, captivating the audience with her elegance and warmth.
In the afternoon, Jessica took part in an exclusive private media interview session at the Volt Auto Showroom located at 1 Tai Seng Ave, #01-23/24 Tai Seng Exchange, Singapore 536464. A select group of lifestyle and entertainment journalists had the unique chance to engage with her in an intimate setting, with questions submitted in advance and curated to explore her personal and professional journey.
Her insights covered topics ranging from her connection to design and innovation, to her thoughts on the Dongfeng 007 and her return to Singapore. “I’m honoured to be part of this exciting launch,” Jessica shared during the interview. “I was totally impressed by the design — it’s sleek, beautiful, and thoughtfully made. On the same day as the 007 launch, Volt Auto supported the local wellness platform Happie SG by sponsoring a Dongfeng Box as the Grand Prize for its 3rd Anniversary Showcase. The prize presentation occurred at Jewel Changi Airport, where it was co-presented by Volt Auto and Singapore’s Queen of Caldecott Hill, Zoe Tay.
