We had the opportunity to experience the epitome of beach culture at C Side, the most authentic beach destination in Singapore, and this is truly the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of the city

The Coastes Concept
Situated along a golden stretch of Sentosa's Siloso Beach, Coastes beach bar offers a rustic charm and casual, laid-back beach vibe where the sunbeds flow right to the water's edge. This breezy beach bar serves premium beers, spirits, tropical cocktails and hearty beach food. Tuck into generous servings of Coastes mouthwatering burgers, pizzas, pastas and delicious fresh seafood. Soak up the sun, sand and sea while relaxing to a mix of Balearic tunes as you sip on your ice- cold beer. Coastes is all you need for that idyllic island getaway.
We decided to try a variety of items, from both the Breakfast and Lunch menu, so from the Breakfast menu, we chose the Signature Breakfast set that consists of a hearty plate of creamy scrambled eggs, grilled sausage, crispy bacon, cremini mushrooms and grilled Roma tomatoes that came served with sourdough, and for Salads, we tried the Smoked Duck Salad, that comprised of smoked duck breast with. roasted beetroot cubes and capsicum topped with Grana Padano cheese shavings & balsamic vinaigrette.
We also sampled the Angus Tenderloin Cubes, that came sauteed with cremini mushrooms, spanish onions and a splash of red wine sauce. The Chicken wings are so delicious and they were marinated with Coasted home-made sauce with oven-baked goodness. We also tried the Fresh Seafood Platter, with an array of well-seasoned and fried golden brown fresh shrimps, calamari rings, scallops, crispy soft shell crabs and beer-battered Atlantic cod; all served with yummy tartar sauce.
We tried an item from the new menu, the Beetroot Scallops, a trio of chilled pan-seared Japanese scallops soaked in beetroot jus on zucchini and topped with soy caviar, delightful! The Banana & Choco Filo was truly interesting, as this Greek-styled flaky filo came filled with sweet caramelised banana and chocolate served with vanilla ice-cream on toasted walnuts - a wonderful combination and a new dessert dish for some of us!

The beach dining experience is further elevated with a $65++ free-flow wines & bubbly package available every weekend from 12pm to 3pm, making it one of the most affordable free-flow options on the island.
For an invigorating early start to the day, look no further than Coastes’ hearty breakfast offerings available from 9am to 3pm daily. Fuel up with Ham & Cheese Croissant fresh from the oven and oozing with rich Gruyére cheese or tuck into Spam Benedict, a playful approach on the classic brunch staple featuring lightly-crisped slices of spam topped with roasted pineapple salsa, poached eggs & delicious burnt butter orange sauce.
To complement its laid back beach atmosphere well-loved by families, couples and tourists from all walks of life, Coastes introduces an indulgent selection of sharing plates thoughtfully Spam Benedict curated with premium produce and beautifully presented to complement the refreshing & bold flavours of each dish. Seafood lovers will love the Smoked Salmon, Poached Prawns with Gazpacho and more. Diners can also look forward to a whole new line- up of savoury pastas, risottos & juicy burgers to suit all palates including the Beef Cheek Ragu Risotto and BBQ Pulled Pork Burger for the meat lovers. While those looking for some surf in their meal, the Crispy Fried Cod Burger or the Creamy Prawn Fettuccine with succulent tiger prawns bathed in a delicious creamy garlic sauce is sure to hit the spot.
Vegetarians can be assured of a good selection too with some plant-based options in each category of the Coastes menu. New vegetarian options include Spinach & Feta Filo, a nutritious breakfast dish of flaky filo dough with a comforting filling of spinach and feta cheese. For sharing, the Grilled Vegetable Antipasti is a must-try. This Mediterranean-style platter of caramelised zucchini and eggplant, crostini and goat cheese served with kalamata olives, roasted garlic and tomato jam makes a refreshing starter to any meal. For mains, tuck into the classic Spaghetti Arrabbiata or opt for a delicious and filling Grilled Eggplant Ciabatta with goat cheese and porcini truffle mayonnaise.
