Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse

A Gastronomic Journey with Bistecca at their new abode, as we review their revamped menu at a whole new location next door and a brand new look.

Bistecca is <Italian for Steak>: Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse is the only restaurant to serve a 1.2kg charcoal-grilled Bistecca alla Fiorentina Wagyu T-Bone Steak. Their F1 Wagyu beef which is pasture raised in the King and Kiew Valleys of Australia, and organic grain-finished was simply tasty and awesomely wonderful.

We were amazed by the design of their newly outfitted shop-house, combining modern and sleek architecture while preserving several elements of the nearly century-old heritage structure; the heritage feel evokes a warm Italian farmhouse feel with exposed brick walls and wood panelling. We like the ambience that exudes an intimate dining experience by candlelight and by attentive, impeccable service; combined with an open-design kitchen and Fiorentina cellar.

When the menu calls for a full rendition for a Fiorentina which is a signature 1.2kg T-bone steak comprising of Sirloin and Tenderloin; with the descriptors alluding to the fact that it is a F1 karoge washu bred wagyu & tajima cattle bloodline, thick cut in traditional tuscan manner 420+ days grain-fed (that’s an astounding 14 months) with a Marble Score of 6 (MB6); it is absolutely gorgeous when menu text, sight, presentation, scent, taste, structure is aligned and each piece of MB6 brings true joy to the palate! We know we had to try it and it was AMAZING!

From it’s opening 8 years ago to current day, the culinary team continues to innovate and we are truly blessed to not just marvel but fill our gratification with each welcoming bite!

The Ostriche, consisting of freshly shucked kelly gigas Irish Oysters was superb, creamy and made us year for more…

The Wagyu steak tartare – exuding with freshness and elegance; it comprises of anchovies, fried capers and quail egg yolk

The Burrata was so good! Delicious and bursting with the right flavour!

The Agnolotti consisting of sweet pea, ricotta, pistachio, pickled onion and mint, was gleamingly brilliant with Italiano finesse!

We are not <desserts or sweets> people, BUT we were blown away by the elegance and culinary perfections of their desserts, which demonstrate their competence in this segment, aside from wonderful antipastis, main courses. We tried their Tiramisu, Sticky Date Pudding (wow), Gelato and Black Forest (so awesome)!

Bistecca also has a very special private space, for weddings, celebrations, and private parties for corporates and interest groups that can hold up to 30 pax; Do contact them for your next upcoming event!

OVERALL RATING : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, and one of the best Steakhouses in Singapore – not just for gorgeous Fiorenti steaks, but a whole array of Italian food and desserts!! Definitely!

Established by the Red Door Group (Artemis Grill & Rooftop Bar), Bistecca is open for dinner on Mondays, and both lunch and dinner the rest of the week.
