As such, we have decided to feature our partner, Aqina Farm Chicken and the goodness found in this amazing culinary product. • Taratata Brasserie : Review

The kitchen at Taratata Bistrot is helmed by the Executive Chef and Owner, Mr Bertrand Raguin, a Frenchman who has worked as a Chef de Cuisine in many fine dining restaurants across South East Asia. The front of house is manned by the legendary Kevin Gueugnon – Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, who has had previous stints with Gunthers, Brasserie Gavroche and the 1 Michelin Star Hotel La Villa in Calvi, Corse France. We started off our evening cocktail pre dinner drinks with one of our favourite Champagne Houses, Billecart Salmon Vintage 2007. Sharp, dry and the attack on the palatte was amazing for a Champagne of such great structure and quality. We started off the Champagne pairing with the fresh oysters $8. Big, round and juicy oysters that blended really well with the vintage Champagne. Warm starters was next. Pan Seared Foie Gras $28 – this was crispy on the outside and melts on the inside. Brilliantly executed by Chef Bertrand. We will be back for more helpings for sure. 1/2 dozen Escargots baked in Parsley and Garlic Butter. Ooh this paired really well with the Champagne as well. The highlight of the evening. We decided to order the Chateau Prieure Lichine Margaux 2013 $190 to pair with our mains. Kevin automatically came by with a decanter and offered to decant the wine. Wow this is really great customer service! The first main was a Duck Confit with Morel Mushrooms Sauce and Green Beans and Sarladaise Potatoes. Again the yardstick barometer of any Duck confit is that it must be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside This dish passed muster on all fronts. Wow! The final main course was an Angus Ribeye with Bordelaise Sauce, Bone Marrow, Green Beans and French Fries. A fitting main course to end off the evening and pair with the Grand Cru Classe Wine. We were super full and stuffed with our stomachs by now and decided to skip the desserts. We will be back for more for sure! For Reservations: Taratata Bistrot: 35A Keong Saik Road, 089142 Taratata.sg Tel: +65 6221 4506 Opening Hours: (Tues to Fri & Public Holidays) 11.30am – 3pm, 5.30pm – 12am, (Sat) 5.30pm – 12am, (Sun) 11.30am – 3pm, 5.30pm – 10.30pm, Closed on Mon

Guests can sample Portuguese cuisine one day and Kyoto fare another day, satiate their sweet tooth at the dessert bar and unwind with a whisky at the speakeasy, or cheer on their favourite driver from Twenty3’s rooftop and hit the dance floor after at the Apex Lounge – the possibilities are endless!” says Shamini Suppiah, Director of Corporate Sales, Singapore GP Pte Ltd. Guests at Twenty3 can also look forward to arriving in style via exclusive ferry services that ply between Bayfront North Jetty and Twenty3 – the only lifestyle facility to offer this as part of the ticket – before being welcomed into a lush secret garden oasis. Dining with the Stars A world of gastronomical delights await guests as Twenty3 brings together five Michelin stars within a 3,000 sqm trackside facility, taking discerning diners on a culinary journey. From the home of the legendary Imola racing circuit in northern Italy, Chef Massimiliano Mascia of two Michelin- starred San Domenico will showcase a selection of contemporary Italian dishes in their Singapore culinary debut. Founded in 1970, the restaurant’s most celebrated dishes will be served at Twenty3 such as the Marinated Amberjack with Fresh Vegetables as well as the Crispy Prawns with Spinach, Toasted Sesame and Balsamic Mousseline. Guests can get better acquainted with the “Japanese Master of True Kyoto Cuisine” – Chef Takagi Kazuo of two Michelin-starred Takagi from Ashiya, Japan – as he highlights the refined Kyo-ryori style of cuisine at Twenty3. Centred on time-honoured traditions, Chef Takagi’s dishes elevate simple Japanese ingredients into exquisitely plated dishes imbued with culture and seasonality. Some of his signature dishes include Grilled Wagyu with Seasonal Vegetables and Sio Koji Marinade Salmon. Diners can also head upstairs to the izakaya where they can enjoy fresh-off- the-grill yakitori skewers paired with a specially-curated selection of Japanese sake, whisky, beers and specialty cocktails. Another chef making his Singapore debut at Twenty3, Chef Tiago Bonito of Portugal’s one Michelin-starred Largo do Paço, pays homage to his roots by reinterpreting classic recipes while incorporating an assortment of unique ingredients not traditionally used in Portuguese cuisine. Highlights include the Veal of Milk with Smoked Celery, Asparagus and Madeira Wine as well as the Sea Bass, Crustaceans “Xerém”, Seaweed and Champagne. Trendy Food, Drink and Nightlife Experiences Aside from a stellar gastronomic line-up, not to be missed is luxe-casual alfresco dining at the Bay Terrace, featuring local favourites such as Mee siam, Laksa and Satay, international fare by London’s famed Burger & Lobster as well as a specialty cocktail bar. Dessert lovers will delight in Instagrammable chimney cakes by Prague’s Good Food Coffee and Bakery – choose from coloured activated carbon black cones, raspberry powder red cones and pistachio green cones topped with your favourite ice cream flavours. Artisanal drinks by Taverns Tea such as Coffee and Tonic Mocktail, Ondeh-Ondeh Iced Latte and Iced Pandan Chiffon Tea will be hard to resist. Be entertained by Taiko drummers, DJ sets, fire dancers, roving performers and electrifying pyrotechnics within the alfresco space throughout the race weekend. Inspired by the Jazz era of the 1920s, Singapore GP’s first whisky and rum speakeasy exudes a blend of old world charm and luxury. Helmed by artisanal bar La Maison du Whisky, the 40-seat watering hole will feature an exceptional selection of 23 Scotch whiskys and specialty rums in a cosy, and intimate environment. A discreet, unmarked door conceals the entrance into the bar – a treat for those lucky enough to find it. The electrifying party atmosphere continues post-race at the two-storey Apex Lounge – the only nightclub within the circuit – where guests can revel in top dance hits from resident DJs. Above the dancefloor, a stunning German kinetic light installation will create a kaleidoscope of mesmerising movement and colours using over 300 light spheres, alongside enthralling performances by aerial artists. Within the Apex Lounge, guests can also indulge in one-of-a-kind sweet treats by award- winning Pâtissier Philip Khoury from Harrod’s Knightsbridge, London and pastry chefs Eddie Stewart and Min Chai of N2 Brunch Club as they work in tandem exclusively for Twenty3 to create a selection of unique concoctions that marry food and art Aptly named after the final corner of the circuit where it is located, Twenty3 boasts superb views of the Formula 1 cars as they race towards the finish line. Guests can opt to enjoy the track action in the comfort of the restaurants or outdoor viewing galleries, or head up to the two rooftop terraces boasting spectacular views of the Singapore skyline, podium celebrations and fireworks. A lush installation on the rooftop designed by Gardens by the Bay exclusively for Twenty3 provides a stunning Instagrammable photo opportunity against the backdrop of the conservatories.
